San Vito — Restaurant in Milan

Out for a subway walk around North Milan, we came upon this pizzeria, trattoria. We were looking for a local trattoria but it seems that Sunday everything is closed except for Turkish kebabs and this restaurant. This account itself as a pizzeria so we asked for a table. They did allow us to enter with dog, no sign against. We ordered 3 Liza's but they told us no pizza at lunch. So we ordered 2 taglieri of cold cuts and "torta fritta", a risotto with seafood, a Carbonara spaghetti and mussels soup. The cold meats were not bad, medium quality, the fried bread not too oily but very small squares, medium ok. The risotto was overcooked and the seafood did not taste fresh. The carbonara was very low quality. Bacon used was really bad, the spaghetti size was too small and overdone, taste was very salty and little else. The mussel soup was indeed the worst of the 3. The mussels were dry and leathery, no wine or even garlic had been used, all i could taste was extremely salted water. I left half because the taste was really bothering me. It's now nearly 5 hours after lunch and my mouth has small swellings from the seafood. Tab was 45 euros. Last thing is that we are indeed still in a pandemic but nobody checked our green passes. For all novaxers, this is a good place for you. There was an old man right behind me with a hacking cough that set our teeth on edge a little. With 93 year old parents I do worry. Anyway, shall not go back. The 2 stars and not less are because the waiter, a nice young man, was just lovely. He deserves a better place to work, young, polite,...

Siamo stati alla Pizzeria San Vito in occasione della pizzata di fine corso d’arte delle mie figlie, un evento molto atteso e partecipato. Eravamo un gruppo numeroso, circa 40 persone tra adulti e bambini, ma nonostante ciò il personale si è dimostrato efficiente, cortese e ben organizzato, riuscendo a gestire il tutto con estrema professionalità e gentilezza.

Per noi adulti era previsto un giro pizza: abbiamo avuto modo di assaggiare diversi gusti, tutti preparati con attenzione, con impasti ben cotti, condimenti abbondanti e saporiti. Ogni pizza aveva il suo carattere, e devo dire che le ho apprezzate tutte. Dalla classica salsiccia e friarielli a quelle più sfiziose, ogni fetta è stata una piacevole scoperta. I bambini invece potevano scegliere la loro pizza preferita, e le più gettonate sono state quelle con le patatine fritte sopra: un grande classico che ha reso tutti felici!

Il locale è pulito, curato e accogliente, l’ambiente ideale per trascorrere una serata in compagnia, anche con gruppi numerosi come il nostro. Il servizio è stato rapido e cordiale, e questo ha fatto la differenza, rendendo l’intera esperienza ancora più piacevole.

In sintesi, la Pizzeria San Vito è stata una scelta azzeccata: ottime pizze, atmosfera rilassata e uno staff gentile e disponibile. Consigliata non solo per cene tra amici e famiglie, ma anche per eventi di gruppo e feste. Ci torneremo...
