I was feeling very unwell at this point in my trip and I was in desperate need of chicken soup or just any soup really and when I did a Google search of soup in the neighbourhood I was staying in this place came up and chicken soup is exactly what I ordered! I also ordered a samosa, lamb biryani and masala tea. I enjoyed my lunch (EUR20.00) and the waiter was very pleasant and did a great job. There were no other patrons perhaps because the middle of the day is very hot in the height of summer but I was so glad for the air conditioning. I was in dire need of food so I had to brave the heat. Location a stone's throw away from my accommodation so really convenient for me at the time.

I ordered butter chicken from Shalimar on Uber eats and received an inedible meal. The chicken was a gooey paste and the sauce was a thick and slimy oil. This is nothing like a typical butter chicken dish. Quite frankly, this was a disgusting meal and I am shocked they thought this was ok. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Good food, good prices, but the waiter was a little depressing. Full menus for 16 to 20€. I was shocked the didn't have any Indian beer...... They didn't have any beer at all really. The waiter spoke so quietly I had to guess what he was saying and finally gave up trying to understand him in the end.

Went there after reading all the good reviews..but we were very disappointed.. I didnt get to taste the food because we were told that food will be ready in half an hour as they have a big order before us..we were ready to place our order..we waited atleast 15 mins just to place our order..its a small restaurant with probably 20 ppl max sitting arrangement. Anyway cut the long story short We waited there for 20/25 mins and then told by the owner that they ran out of food...lol There were ppl running left right and centre(staff) As if a tsunami is coming I wouldnt bother going there if they are busy because they might run out of...
