Tavola Calda Bar Lucio — Restaurant in Milan

So far I visited Lucio only during lunch break.

In a nutshell it is a very genuine place where you can mostly have homemade basic Sicilian dishes.

Going in details, this is a super peculiar bar where everything will makes you feeling to be going back in time ... the place it's literally full of books, furnitures are from the 80/90, the owner (Lucio) is a Sicilian gentleman, he is super gentle and does everything, from serving coffe and drinks at the bar to cook food during lunch.

This is not the place for Micheline guide experts, it's more a little gem where you can totally take a break from the rest of the city, and just enjoy your time.

OG classic italian restaurant, everything was SO GOOD and so cheap as well. It's a must if you are in Milan and want to get away from the touristy area. This is the perfect place to have good italian pasta - Lucio is also super sweet and the vibes are super chill.

I had the gorgonzola pasta, some breads and cheese, and the cannoli. Everything...

Un’esperienza mistica!

In una fredda giornata di Febbraio, stavamo vagando alla ricerca di un posto dove poter pranzare ed ecco che, ad un certo punto, scorgiamo un posto che ci può offrire ristoro: la tavola calda di Lucio! 🤩 Subito ci accingiamo ad entrare anche se, sul momento, una parte della nostra compagnia si dimostra intimorita dall’aspetto esterno del locale…😨 Mai scelta fu più sbagliata: una volta preso coraggio infatti, veniamo accolti dal caloroso titolare che ci fa subito sentire a casa e ci trova un posto a sedere. 🥹 Sul menu andrebbe aperto un capitolo a parte…solo piatti della tradizione (non meneghina, ma siciliana!) che rispecchiano la sensazione familiare che dimostra il locale. Assolutamente top gli gnocchetti sardi con la salsiccia, così come le polpette fatte in casa. Encomiabile anche la selezione di antipasti con la ricotta aromatizzata alle erbe.

Tutto questo per 10€ acqua e caffè compreso. Che dire?...
