Creative and cute-for-cutes-sake food ideas but several missteps. I suspect they may not have enough business to have freshest quality seafood, which is the kiss of death due a place specialized in raw fish. Rice in arancini had zero flavor. Marinated tuna filling was deep dark red, perhaps because of the nori, but made the tuna look and taste like the bloodline - the least desirable and most off tasting part of the flesh. Magnum of pesce spada was inspired, but the cornflake crust was thickly crunchy - hard to eat. Panino of tuna again did not taste fresh. Not off, just not fresh and bright - needed lemon or something to lighten. Shrimp cannolo was also a cute concept, but the shrimp were raw and tired, not cold, crisp and fresh as you would expect. Shrimp definitely needed more marinating time and again some serious acidity. Tasty spritz. Nice staff and "cool" but looks can be deceiving. We thought that this restaurant 220m from the sea would serve fresh fish, but then on the menu it all has a * to indicate that it's frozen. We gave it a try as we'd sat down at that point and were tired, but everything tasted a bit old and "fishy" - as if the fried food is bought pre-breaded - and the tartare was pretty tasteless, deceptively comprising a thin layer of fish on a big bed of salad.

Arriviamo in un giorno con temperature esterne altissime, decidiamo di sederci all'unico tavolo interno in quanto vediamo fosse collocato un condizionatore dalla parte opposta della stanza ma nostro malgrado scopriamo essere spento. L'alternativa era nella bella piazzetta sotto gli ombrelloni con sole a picco: inutile dire quanto abbiamo sudato. E in locali con questi prezzi è impensabile un trattamento al cliente del genere! La cameriera, pur gentile, è molto distratta. Innanzi tutto mi viene fornito un seggiolone di legno di quelli adatti ai bambini di 2-3 anni mentre sarebbe servito quello con le cinghie ma su questo la colpa non è certo sua se non del locale che non attenziona i clienti piccolissimi ( non esiste ovviamente neanche il fasciatoio dunque!) ma addirittura apparecchia la seduta del neonato con tanto di posate e bicchiere di vetro che abbiamo provveduto a restituire subito per evitare qualsiasi incidente. Ma a questo si aggiunge che ho chiesto l'acqua effervescente naturale e lei mi ha risposto che non ne avevano per cui ho bevuto quella frizzante, che non gradisco, salvo poi scoprire che era presente. Particolare il cannolo di tonno e il magnum di spada ma i prezzi del panino al salmone è davvero uno sproposito! Per non parlare delle fritture che hanno pure modificato alzandolo nonostante sia un locale giovane. Insomma locale con buone potenzialità ma gestito male. Si può fare di più...
