Ristorante Balubino al mare — Restaurant in Misano Adriatico

Being honest, I have never seen such kind of service before. Thank you, guys. You have opened my eyes and allowed me to re-evaluate the level of service in the restaurants I had visited to before. After the main course, we were brought the bill and were asked to pay, although we did not ask for the bill, because there was an urgent need to free up a table for other guests who were standing in line at the restaurant. I have no comments. This is the first time I've faced something like this. Usually, if restaurants set a time limit for occupying a table, firstly, they inform the visitors about such a rules in advance when tgey make a reservation. We went early 7.30 and was empty like most places at this time. We ordered mains only initially and food was prompt and full of flavour. Staff were patient and could easily converse in our terrible attempts at speaking Italian. Everyone was so friendly it was a good choice and filled up with locals whilst our mains were served and the atmosphere was great. Il ristorante ha un'anima ed è quella del suo titolare. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto caldo e freddo e a seguire uno strozzaprete alla marinara a concludere un dessert. L'antipasto preparato con materie prime fresche, da apprezzare la delicatezza dei carpacci e delle cozze ben preparate, ottime le lumachine di mare in salsa di pomodoro. Si sono fatte notare sardine sfilettate e marinate per la loro dolcezza e per l'assenza del gusto aspro che vine dato dall'aceto (non credo che in questo caso sia stato usato per la marinatura) così come le mazzancolle. Lo strozzaprete ottimo, buona e ben cotta la pasta di grano tenero fatta a mano, giusta sapidità e sapore di mare non sovrastante. Insomma un buon equilibrio tra la passata di pomodoro e la sapidità del pesce. A concludere un tiramisù ben fatto. Che cosa cambierei? Ho sentito la mancanza di una carte dei vini che forse esiste ma non mi è stata proposta ed eviterei la mise en place con le posate imbustate che ricordano troppo le mense aziendali.
