Osteria Pizzeria Bar Morane — Restaurant in Modena

There were 2 separate parties when we arrived. The place was very busy and noisy but Fortunato checked if he could get us a table. We have been driving and staying around Italy for 2 weeks now, and by far he was the most hospitable service provider we have had the pleasure to meet.

Fortunato was very accommodating, polite and professional. He was warm and friendly too and made effort to show us the dishes that we wanted to order but wasn't sure how it would look like as they only have Italian language menu.

We had an amazing tuna tartare and three great tortellini dishes. Also order their fried bread. It’s delicious.

It also had a great bar and the Lambrusco was fantastic.

However, the best part was probably the staff who were super helpful and welcoming. While the restaurant isn’t in the most touristy area the service in English was excellent and Fortunate was incredibly helpful.

Mi trovavo nelle vicinanze allora di pranzo ed allora, mi sono fermato . Locale grande ma con molta penombra quasi da sembrare chiuso ( capisco che ci sia poca gente ma, bisogna anche attirare la clientela). Ordino un tortino di melanzane alla parmigiana ed arriva mezzo freddo e mezzo bollente ( tipico di riscaldamento da microonde) con le melanzane fibrose ( questo è tipico una cottura sbagliata del vegetale) ed a seguire delle caserecce alla salsiccia e funghi ( queste erano buone ). Quello che mi ha lasciato perplesso è stata la mancanza di considerazione del fatto che ho mandato indietro più di metà tortino ( sono due forchettate ) facendomi pagare tutto a prezzo pieno e non si siano neanche scusati !
