I wanted to say what I didn't like in person, but it wasn't possible because the staff doesn't know English at all. I was at your restaurant today with my girlfriend about 20/30 minutes after it opened. From the very beginning, the service didn't seem nice, but that's probably because they're embarrassed by tourists and the language barrier. I wanted to order carbonara with tuna tartare, and my girlfriend wanted to order some pasta with swordfish, which turned out to be impossible, because after we ordered the waiter started mumbling something under his breath, but no one knew what, not even himself :) Then he called his friend, who also couldn't say it, so we suggested that they write it into a translator. Then it turned out that we couldn't order two different dishes, because they said so. We had to take the same one. Of course, no explanation provided. I felt strange that I couldn't order what I wanted, but in the end I ended up with two pastas with swordfish, which were just average and tasteless. Additionally, on your website, the dish we finally ordered had much more meat and did not look overcooked. Below I will show a comparison of the pasta we received and the one on the website It's strange that you go to a restaurant and you can't order what you want, but you have to pay for it. To no surprise, the pasta wasn’t good at all. Tasteless and overcooked. Finally, concerned , we asked for the bill, and when the waitress gave it, she immediately ran away. We waited a few minutes for her to come again so I could pay, but it didn't happen, so I went inside to pay, then the waitress showed me where to go, which looked embarrassing. It turned out that here the waiter does not come to you so you can pay, but in the middle of the restaurant there is a hidden spot behind several counters with their boss and that is where you have to pay. I've never seen such a circus in my life, and I've been to many restaurants and it has never happened to me. The restaurant has an interesting exterior, but inside it's nothing special. It's not worth visiting here. I'm waiting for some reaction...

Capitati per caso, uscendo per cenare al vicino casello autostradale, su indicazione di un ragazzo del posto, abbiamo scoperto una realtà che non ci aspettavamo. Il Vecchio Gazebo è un Locale incastonato nelle viuzze del centro storico di Molfetta ove, pur essendo di origini pugliesi, non mi era mai capitato di fermarmi. Accogliente e pulito, con caratteristici cieli a volta, si presenta con quella eleganza discreta e che, tuttavia, non mette mai in soggezione. Il menù ci è apparso ricco e caratterizzato anche da piatti gourmet che tuttavia affondano le loro radici nella sapiente e tipica Cucina pugliese, assolutamente invitanti anche a giudicare dalle portate che abbiamo visto servire ai tavoli vicini. Noi, dovendo proseguire un lungo viaggio, abbiamo preferito "accontentarci" di una pizza, ma una pizza da ricordare. Perfettamente lievitata e cotta a puntino, sia nell'ampio cornicione, croccante al punto giusto sia nei condimenti prescelti di assoluta qualità e legati alle produzioni del territorio ( menzione speciale per i cardoncelli utilizzati, tipico fungo pugliese, davvero freschissimi e di eccellente sapore). Ottima anche la birra che, in modica quantità, abbiamo potuto degustare. Servizio preciso, cortese ed elegante, oltre che rapido nonostante la disponibilità all'asporto offerta in tempo di Covid. Servizi igienici, puliti e ben sanitizzati, dotati di tutto. Prezzo nella media, nonostante la qualità offerta. L'esperienza è completata da un servizio impeccabile. Lo staff si dimostra sempre attento, cortese e preparato, pronto a consigliare al meglio non solo sulle pizze ma anche sugli abbinamenti con le bevande. L'ambiente, accogliente e curato, contribuisce a rendere la serata piacevole e raffinata, elevando la cena a un momento di vero piacere...
