Prima e Poi — Restaurant in Moncalieri

Good pizza. Good wine. Great prices. Fantastic service.

They even have English menus. My wife and I are regulars at a Neapolitan pizza place in California. The pizza was better here. And we had 2 pies and a bottle of Barberra d'Alba for two thirds of what we would pay for an equivalent bottle and 1 pie at home.

The horror stories you hear about surly waiters? That doesn't apply here. Our waiter was so polite and deferential that it almost made me uncomfortable. We never complained that our table was rocking on the uneven sidewalk, but as soon as he saw it he was crawling under the table...

Prima e Poi is a an exceptionlly delicious restaurant and pizzeria. It’s nicely located and has a cosy interior but most importantly, of course, is the kitchen. The pizza’s are excellent and if I can give you one advice it’s this one: if you like seafood order the Pizza Prima E Poi of the house. It comes with all the specialities of Italian pizza: delicious garniture, mussles flavoured with a slice of onion, very good olive oil on the table and a tasty tomato sauce as a basis obviously. Se si potesse dare zero lo darei. Pizzeria con pizze mediocri, cozze tutt’altro che buone ed un servizio pessimo. Cameriera scocciata che prende la comanda a metà tavolo e poi con tutta calma al resto della tavolata, dimenticando di segnare una pizza. Tavolo abbandonato a sé stesso, abbiamo dovuto chiedere che ci togliessero tazzine del caffè e bottiglie vuote. Come da accordi, abbiamo ordinato due torte nella pasticceria che collabora con loro in modo da non pagare €1 per le posate ed i piattini per ogni invitato, ma con sorpresa mi ritrovo nello scontrino il servizio (allego foto). Ci hanno detto che non fosse possibile accendere l’aria condizionata nonostante la temperatura nel locale fosse abbastanza alta ed hanno aperto leggermente solo una porta di emergenza dopo le nostre insistenze. Dopo uno scontrino da più di €550 qualunque locale offrirebbe un amaro e invece ci viene detto che . Per farci capire che dovevamo andare via sbattevano le sedie dei tavoli attorno mentre li preparavano, oltre al fatto che ci hanno spento la luce esterna mentre salutavamo gli altri invitati.

Non tornerei mai e lo sconsiglio totalmente, soprattutto dopo che telefonicamente mettiamo in luce quanto scritto finora aspettandoci delle scuse e ci sentiamo rispondere tutto l’opposto, spingendomi a lasciare una recensione meritatamente negativa.
