5 star service, 3 star (minus) food. The service was excellent! They were super friendly and helpful. I thought I'd read more positive reviews of the food so I was expecting better. I had salmon tartare and orecchiette- both were average at best- average for somewhere not in Italy. I'm afraid the chef is trying too hard to be creative and forgetting the basics- the fish really did not taste fresh. It was especially disappointing because the server said the dishes I chose were very good. I had much better carpaccio the day before that was super simple. I've prepared better raw salmon at home!
