Caffetteria Duomo Prosciutteria — Restaurant in Montagnana

After walking around in the pretty and picturesque town we looked for a place to grab a bite.

There are plenty of options in town, but this one has a nice location on the piazza with outdoor tables (with a roof).

Our dog was welcome as well and we ordered two beer and a cheese / meat cut plate. Some aperitif was served complementary, which was nice (no hidden charges on the bill). It is a very relaxing cafe with nice views. There are a good number of tables inside as well and a nice-looking menu. Service was friendly and helpful.

The food was pretty good. Nowhere near the best plates we've had on this trip (talk about Re-Mida in Lecce), but good enough and fair priced. Together with its location it deserves the four stars. It all came together at 28 Euros. Wherever you eat, just don't miss out on this...

Locale storico del paese, di mia frequentazione fin da quando ero ragazzo. Ora frequentato un po' meno, perché la vita e le abitudini cambiano. Cambiano purtroppo anche le persone... e se c'è una cosa per cui frequento meno di prima questo locale, è a causa del temperamento spesso troppo "energico" della titolare (fatto su cui leggo varie recensioni in merito, sia qui che in TripAdvisor), tale da farti sentire in forte disagio come cliente. Stamattina ne ho avuto l'ennesima dimostrazione... credo non metterò più piede in questo posto. Peccato perché, ripeto, come look sarebbe uno dei migliori biglietti da visita per qualche turista...
