Get them muscles in tomato sauce!!! Easily worth the trip to Bovo Marina! The sea was the second best thing on this beach.

The seafood couscous was also nice. Had a craving and it did not disappoint. Though, I’m serious about the tomato sauce and muscles.

That alone with the bread to soak up the sauce is mouth watering and mind blowing. I’m eating dinner now and still thinking about that anti pasti. Is a full meal, no way can eat a primi or secundi after. Do yourself a favor and just get it. Even if vegan ;) the sauce is just wow. Should I write more? No? Well I will. Had the tasting menu at Licanda Perbellini Al Mare and nothing on that menu came close to how good this dish tasted. Outstanding seafood. Calamari beautifully fried in a light batter, grilled cuttlefish salad was exceptional, mixed grilled fish (sea bream and swordfish) superb. Tiramisu & parfait delicious & home made. Chef worked with Rick Stein & Giorgio Locatelli (it shows). Friendly service and great wine. La bellezza del panorama marino e la cura dell’ambiente esterno rendono il contesto davvero suggestivo . La proposta gastronomica mescola cucina italiana e mediterranea, con piatti tipici come pesce fresco, busiate e insalata di finocchi, oltre a dolci decenti come tiramisù e millefoglie. Si apprezzano la qualità e la freschezza ma a volte i piatti risultano un po’ costosi rispetto alla porzione o al gusto percepito . Il personale è generalmente descritto come “preparato e disponibile”, con un servizio rapido. Tuttavia, l’esperienza nel suo complesso resta buona ma non altisonante: la gentilezza è presente, ma manca qualcosa in efficienza o personalizzazione che la porti a eccellere.
