Wer in Montallegro in der Region Agrigento Urlaub macht, der erlebt das pure Italien fernab von Touristenströmen. Agrigento mit seiner schicken Uferpromenade und feine Geschäften ist etwas 28 km entfernt.

Maria Gio und Sohn Paulo betreiben nicht nur eine schicke Strand Bar, auch das Ristorante ist das Beste am Strand von Montallegro. Tagsüber treffen sich hier die Schönen in der weißen Lounge und schauen auf das Mittelmeer, doch eher zum Flirten und gesehen werden. Dies jedoch locker unkompliziert, eben Bella Italia.

Außer Getränke gibt es Tagsüber warmes Essen und Snacks. Abends speist der Gast mit Genuss die gehobene Mittelmeerküche mit Blick auf das Mittelmeer und den Sonnenuntergang. Im Dunklen lauscht man bei einer Flasche Wein und feinsten Speisen, dem Wellenrauschen des Südens.

Wer sich romantisch zurückziehen möchte, der nutzt die untere Terrasse am Strand, hier jedoch ohne Service.

Auch noch um 23:00 Uhr ist das Personal völlig entspannt präsent und sehr freundlich.

Maria Gio and son Paulo not only run a chic beach bar, the Ristorante is also the best on Montallegro Beach.

Marina Joe – Un’eccellenza di mare sulla costa agrigentina

Cena da Marina Joe e posso dire con certezza: un’esperienza che resta nel cuore (e nel palato). Questo ristorante, affacciato sul mare della splendida provincia di Agrigento, è una perla rara dove la qualità del pesce e l’amore per la cucina si incontrano in ogni piatto.

🧑‍🍳 I piatti sono ricchi, curati ed estremamente gustosi, senza mai risultare pesanti: si percepisce chiaramente l’uso di ingredienti freschissimi e selezionati, lavorati con tecnica ed eleganza. Dalla frittura croccante e asciutta, profumata di mare, al tataki di tonno scottato in crosta di sesamo (che sembra uscito da una rivista gourmet), ogni boccone è un equilibrio perfetto tra sapore e leggerezza.

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccellente: porzioni generose, materia prima di livello, e un prezzo assolutamente onesto.

Il servizio? Impeccabile. Una gentilezza sincera, sia da parte dei camerieri che dei gestori, che fa sentire ogni cliente davvero accolto e coccolato.

E infine, una menzione speciale all’ambiente: il locale è arredato con gusto, raffinatezza e un tocco chic che richiama il mare senza mai cadere nel banale. Atmosfera elegante ma rilassata, perfetta sia per una cena romantica che per un’occasione speciale.
