It started off so well, we were welcomed in a friendly manner and the service seemed friendly. We ordered the lasagna and a soft drink. Unfortunately, the soft drink prices were not on the menu, this cost us dearly. The lasagna was still cold on the inside, although I didn't think that was such a disaster. What was worse, was that we had to pay for crockery and cutlery. A scandalous 3 euros per person for a "set table"!!!! In addition, a soft drink cost us 6 euros, why??? We have eaten at many restaurants in the area but this was simply absurd! We also had to wait a very long time to pay, every attempt to pay seemed to be ignored, this could really be better. I understand that it is busy but waiting 5 minutes with your wallet in your hand at the cash register is really disrespectful to the guest! It felt to us as if non-wine drinkers were not welcome, why else would you have to pay 6 euros for a soft drink? I advise tourists to eat elsewhere. Children have no business here, 6 euros for a soft drink is ridiculous! A missed...

Food was cold, the serving staff was very kind even though the owner wasn't.

This place charges money before you even ate or drank something (we paid like 3 euros each for a clean table and all the cutlery and glasses). If this sounds crazy to you, then you will be shocked to know that one soft drink costs 6 euro! This is like giving a large tip to yourself as a restaurant, which is very dirty way of operating if you ask me.

If the prices were normal i would have left a tip but now i definitely did not.

Regular price for a softdrink in this town is like 3 euros, and at other restaurants in Montecarlo i didn't have to pay for the cutlery and a "clean table".

So, save yourself some money and visit another restaurant...

Ieri,domenica 17 febbraio. Pranzo di squadra con bambini di 7 anni. Prenotazione per 25 persone...accolti da una signora con aria già scocciata. Il servizio condito da maleducazione e arroganza della signora. A mio marito,seduto accanto a me,poggiava con il braccio sinistro sulla mia sedia,gli è stato alzato di prepotenza e spostato con altrettanta prepotenza,quando poteva benissimo chiedere con gentilezza se poteva farle spazio per arrivare a servire il piatto a quelli dalla parte opposta del tavolo...fino a prova contraria nessuno di noi ha occhi dietro la testa per capire dove voglia dirigersi chi hai alle spalle. A una mamma è stato rovesciato sulla giacca olio...i piatti venivano quasi lanciati sempre con fare scortese. Io capisco tutto,come dalla risposta data alla precedente recensione,che la signora ha 40 anni di esperienza, e non credo che in questi 40 anni di lavoro al contatto con la gente le sia stato insegnato di riversare le sue frustrazioni o stanchezze su chi paga,su chi comunque ha mantenuto un certo livello di educazione e rispetto nonostante non ce ne fosse dall'altra parte. Delusi dal contesto, arrivato al momento del dolce,la mia crostata alla crema era spiacevolmente cruda,dorata appena in superficie e la crema e la base con frolla cruda. In altri contesti avrei lasciato perdere,comprendendo che nel servizio può succedere per tanti motivi,ma dopo il trattamento che ci è stato riservato,ho fatto notare con gentilezza di portare via il dolce perché era crudo. Forse la signora non aveva capito o mi avrà mandato a quel paese dentro di se o appena cambiato stanza. Nemmeno una scusa,nella stanza è calato un silenzio glaciale,spostato il piatto e nemmeno una mezza parola per scusarsi. Mi dispiace molto,anche perché il posto l'ho trovato molto carino e di primo impatto accogliente. I piatti ben caldi, e abbondanti,la carne l'ho trovata molto buona e ben condita.
