TVB Tuscan wine bar — Restaurant in Monteriggioni

What a nice and great unexpected experience. We were staying close by at a beautiful location, called Cassale di Cellole (beautiful place, highly recommanded). I spotted the Tuscan Wine bar on our way to Firenze along the road; We expected and hoped for in the first place a good glass of wine after a sunny and relaxing day. But it brought us so much more, and was highly appreciated.

It doesn't show at the first impression, but the gentle and honest service and most of all the suprise of experiencing a variety of typical Italian/tuscan dishes (to be shared) made that we had a very special evening;

Starting with crostines in a different way combined with a slight sweet taste, absoluteley fabulous, Steak tartare prepared in a very tasteful way with pecorino cheese. We finised with a specialty that looked like tuna fish but actually was soft well prepared pork, which was very delicate and tasteful.

Thank you for un unexpected very nice evening. Hope the future will bring you all the best, you deserve it. Especially after/during a though time with Covid19.

When you are in the neighourhood, please visit the Tuscan Wine Bar. A no nonsense place, you will love. It will be worth it.

Wine Bar specializzato in Tartare. Posizione "on the road" ma allo stesso tempo abbastanza tranquilla e riservata. Servizio cortese e rapido. Abbiamo assaggiato le ottime Tartare "Cheesecake" e "Del diavolo" in abbinamento con calici di vino rosato e rosso locale ("Memoro" di Piccini) ed anche un'eccellente trippa alla senese (secondo la speciale ricetta di famiglia) con vino rosso IGT "Ribollito" de Il Drago e la Fornace. L'offerta si completa con focacce, formaggi, salumi, deliziosi sformatini e dessert veramente speciali. Poi, con l'approssimarsi della Stagione più fredda, abbiamo assaggiato anche un'eccellente Zuppa Frantoiana con vino rosso bio Sanminiatello di Podere Pellicciano, un gustoso Peposo con fagioli bianchi all'olio accompagnato da Chianti Poggio Teo di Valiano, una succulenta Tagliata Pepe e Rucola con fagioli, accompagnata da Sangiovese Nacchero de Il Drago e la Fornace, un sugoso Filetto lardellato al Sale e Alloro con fagioli bianchi, una cremosa Pappa al Pomodoro con Fonduta...
