Ristorante pizzeria Marconi — Restaurant in Muggia / Milje

We were looking in Muggia restaurant after 8 PM. Hunger and the desire to spend the last summer day moved us. Marconi ended up in this restaurant with different entrances. The waiter immediately explained to us that on Thursday the whole city orders pizza from them with discounts and the wait for pizza is 40-45 minutes. Then we decided to order dishes from the menu. The octopus tentacles were quite edible, but they were in some sort of sour life with chickpeas. Mujiyski young octopus is a completely rubber muck in a soup with a disgusting taste. Grilled seabass couldn't be spoiled and it was delicious. The sour stale sauce on the linguine finally ruined all the possibilities to eat. What was our surprise when we paid the bill and went to the second entrance to the same restaurant and got a delicious pizza in 10 minutes to take away !! The waiter deceived us, fed us some filth, and we could easily cook pizza in this restaurant! Worst service and sour bad food. The pizza is good from the electric oven. Stuff speaks English....

Sorry- We felt uncomfortable, not welcome. We are a family with 3 kids, 2 in a twin stroller. The big one is 4. We didn't get a falk or a spoon for the kids, we had to ask for a 5th glass and earned an eye roll.. Nonetheless we had to pay three coperto. The meal was ok, not special.. The salad didn't impress at all. We had the hot an cold sea-appetizers and the linguine with seafood.

After paying, i asked to change money. 2 euro in 50 cents. The waiter didn't even let me end, before sending me away.

Oh and i tried in italian, which is pretty good and normally everyone understands what I want. But this waitress acted and looked at me like I was completely stupid.

NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE!

The worst restaurant in Muggia. I waited for the obligatory bread, oil, grissini and aceto balsamico for more than a half an hour, even though all people that got here after me had it before me. The pasta was cold and dry and even if it was pasta with truffles, it had almost NO truffles, only pepper and a little tiny bit of grated truffles. We asked for bread and parmesan, but got bread only. The waiter said that the parmesan "isn't included". My partner had the flavourless goulash in the world that was also undersalted.
