I recently dined at Risorta restaurant in Italy with a group of seven people, and unfortunately, the service was below average. Despite booking our table in advance, we experienced long waiting times for ordering our food and drinks, as well as for paying at the end of our meal. While the Bongore spaghetti we ordered was good, it wasn't particularly impressive. The oysters were also just okay, and we were a bit disappointed with the freshness. However, it's worth noting that the restaurant does have a superb view of the port. Take your jacket just in case you get cold from windy weather. One minor issue we had was that the olive oil was only served upon request and not with the bread, which would have been a nice touch. Overall, I'm not sure I would recommend Risorta restaurant. While the food was decent, the service was not up to par and the overall experience was somewhat lackluster. If you're looking for a restaurant with great views, this might be a good option, but if you're expecting exceptional food and service, you might want to look elsewhere.

Il locale è piacevole,la posizione è strepitosa,per questo abbiamo prenotato con grandi aspettative. La qualità del cibo è buona, ma da parte del servizio ho visto cose che hanno dell'incredibile. Si parte con un'attesa di circa 50 minuti prima di avere gli antipasti e anche il pane. Chiedo una nuova bottiglia di acqua che non arriva, la chiedo nuovamente e non arriva, ma nel conto ne troviamo segnate 3, pertanto presumo che le abbiano consegnate in altri tavoli,anche perché a noi viene consegnato un pesce ( bellissimo e freschissimo) che non avevamo ordinato. Essendo passate due ore dal momento dell'ordine, mio marito inizia a curarlo,ne assaggia un pezzetto e solo dopo si ricorda di aver ordinato un altro piatto. Chiamiamo il cameriere spiegando il disguido e scusandoci per aver già iniziato. Lui lo porta via, verifica di chi fosse,e con nonchalance lo porta al tavolo accanto. Per non fare vedere che era già stato toccato, lo cura e lo consegna sfilettato. Dopo aver visto questo abbiamo preferito non prendere né dolce né caffè. Peccato! Il locale meriterebbe molto di più. Facendo un giro per Muggia, per ora di pranzo ci siamo fermati presso la trattoria risorta Muggia, vedendola dall'esterno mi e' venuto un flash, qua nel porticciolo hanno girato la fiction , il silenzio dell'acqua, usando la trattoria, e il bar accanto come location...incuriosito ho voluto provare a fermarmi a pranzo, abbiamo pranzato all'esterno guardando il mare,e devo dire molto bella la location,il tempo di attesa per i piatti ordinati, non è stato brevissimo, ma questo per me è un pregio, significa che viene fatto tutto al momento e non c'è niente di precotto.... Abbiamo preso fusi istriani con ragù di rana pescatrice, un piatto molto delicato,linguine alla busera e un fritto misto, dove si sentiva che il pesce era fresco,saporito,buono e fritto bene ,accompagnato da mezzo litro acqua naturale e frizzante, e caffè,tutto molto delizioso.mi è piaciuto vedere che il cameriere nel preparare il tavolo e portare le posate,indossa un guanto bianco in cotone per non toccare le posate con le mani,l'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta,la pulizia dei bicchieri,lavati ma con i segni forse del calcare,e delle gocce non asciugate.....

We ate here 10 May..not busy but the waiter acted like it was. It’s a pretty location but that doesn’t mean you should eat here. It was the worst meal we had in our 3 plus weeks of traveling through Spain and now north Italy. I’m not even going to mention the inflated prices because you’re paying for “the view”. The risotto was flavorless and watery and just a bit shy of crunchy. We ordered one of the pork appetizers and were brought two, thinking they had split it for us. It was tasty but certainly not worth the cost.
