Dream cafè — Restaurant in Naples

Dream cafe lounge bar is the most wonderful place. We were staying in an apartment above and upon arrival we saw lots of lounge bar cafes and planned to try a couple of them but once we went to dream cafe we decided we wouldn’t go anywhere else. The drinks are very reasonably priced especially considering they serve you snacks like, pretzels, crackers, nuts and popcorn free of charge as well as very generously providing an appetiser board with bruschetta, hotdog pieces, mini pizzas, chorizo breads and salami sliders. The service is also amazing, a lot of places made us feel unwelcome as english tourists with limited Italian but the staff here made us feel comfortable and were patient with us when practicing speaking their language. Despite the language barrier with some members of staff the older man who seems to work the nights remembered us from our visit and waved to us as we were going back to our apartment. Had two large paroni and they served us a nice appetizer board free of charge. Beer was cold, snacks were tasty and free. Price was €8 for two 66cl beer so ok. Full of locals eating and drinking. Not pretentious and very welcoming My Italian is not great there English was good enough to order drinks so job done.

Più che un bar direi che sia un lounge bar. Gli aperitivi offerti sono sempre abbondanti e spesso vieni sorpreso con piccole pietanze saporite dai fagioli alla messicana alle penne alla carbonara .. Sia di giorno sia in serata il trattamento non cambia, il personale super gentile. Ti trovi tra il popolo Napoletano verace. E nel frattempo ti godi la vista della piazza Carlo III con il palazzo Vanvitelliano settecentesco più grande d'Europa...
