This place sucks a big one.

I came alone. I could see that they had seen me-- however they made no effort to greet me or tell me they would eventually seat me. I waited nonetheless. Despite being mostly empty, they asked me over and over if I had made a reservation ahead of time. I felt like they wanted me to leave! Well, I should have...but I decided to put up with their condescending behavior instead.

Things continued to worsen. The waiter began pressuring me to allow him to first bring the "complementary" dish that "comes with the meal". Yeah right-- it was not free in any way.

I refused and proceeded to ask for the veggie option (online says vegetarian options). He made a stink saying they don't have anything, but that he'd "help me out", and do I like tomatoes. When he asked me what else I would be getting, I joked that because I am a student I am poor.

I recieved a small plate of soft, oily pasta with a couple of pieces of shriveled up tomato.

You could find a better meal around the city for 3 euros-- so that's what I thought the price would be like. I thought-- this can't be more than 10 euros max. Well I was wrong-- it was 20. 20 euros for the lamest pasta in all of Naples.

This place is not worth the trip. Save your money for other restaurants here. Try Jorudan, they are very good....

Raramente scrivo recensioni ma in questo caso è opportuno affinché le persone sappiano cosa vanno incontro. Sono stata a cena con il mio compagno prenotando con the Fork. Il menu è davvero molto limitato è completamente diverso da quello che sta sul sito ma ci viene detto che c’erano tre fuori menù senza però specificare il prezzo. Io ho scelto un fuori menù altrimenti non c’era nulla di mio gradimento, uno scialatiello con il riccio ma sempre senza alcun consiglio da esperti come ci si aspetterebbe in un ristorante di pesce ci viene detto prima che il riccio c’era poi che non c’era per cui ho cambiato la mia scelta con uno scialatiello al granchio (non mi viene specificato che tipo di granchio, il suo peso e relativo costo). Il punto è che se io mi reco in un ristorante di mare mi farebbe piacere essere supportata, consigliata e soprattutto la mia scelta del tipo di pasta può non essere adeguata con il sugo preparato…qui invece una cosa vale l’altra. Peccato però che il prezzo è sempre lo stesso e anche piuttosto alto (25 euro un primo)! Mi arriva un primo al granchio che sapeva evidentemente di panna e latte per addensare e fare il sughetto che non aveva alcun sapore di mare: zero! Ho cercato invano di aprire il mio piccolo granchio per estrarre la polpa ma non avevo le pinze ed è stato un totale caos con mani sporche e zero salviette per potermi pulire. Alla fine mi vengono date le pinze ma è inutile perché il granchio in questione non aveva nessuna polpa da poter mangiare, era solo uno scheletro. In poche parole ho mangiato una pasta in bianco al sapore di latte e panna per addensare al costo di 25 euro. Visto l’evidente disagio prima un cameriere si scusa poi immagino il proprietario mi spiega che era un granchio senza polpa e che solo il liquido della testa viene usato per il sugo (vabbè ho mangiato altri piatti al granchio e questa cosa mi è totalmente nuova: un granchio senza polpa) Gli gnocchetti con i gamberi erano più buoni perché almeno sapevano di mare ma nulla di clamoroso. Ho preso anche l’antipasto con il polipo e il purè la cui porzione era microscopica e il polpo gommoso . Il dolce non era fatto in casa ma un vasetto confezionato alla modica cifra di 7 euro. Sconto the fork applicato direttamente e correttamente. Io davvero capisco che mantenere un locale di questi tempi non sia facile per cui si cerca in tutti i modi di mandare avanti la baracca ma prendere in giro le persone con prezzi gonfiati e qualità bassa è decisamente troppo anche perché chi sceglie di andare a cena fuori spendendo ì proprio soldi anche se lo fanno con the fork nonostante il caro vita deve essere rispettato. Spero che queste critiche siano spunti di riflessione. Ps: se vi chiamate osteria un vino della casa ad un prezzo ragionevole lo potete anche mettere come scelta e se decidete di farete Fork non gonfiate i prezzi per poter recuperare sullo sconto, è una storia vecchia, conosciuta e anche molto deprimente di una presa in...

Absolute worst service I believe I have ever experienced anywhere on the planet! A waiter brought us someone else's order and we were none the wiser so began eating. Wasn't that great and we soon began wondering whether we had the right order. Next thing our waiter storms up to our table and literally starts yelling at us and insulting us for eating the wrong order. Irony is he admitted he saw the other waiter bringing us the wrong order but made no effort to inform us. Then to add insult to injury he wanted to charge us for both meals! I was absolutely flabbergasted that a waiter would treat his customers with such contempt. We were so disgusted we just paid the bill and left in a hurry. Worst restaurant experience I have ever...
