Mediterraneo fish & drink — Restaurant in Naples

The service was rude and inattentive, even though I was the only customer at the moment. The food was terribly done: tuna ceviche was overly salty, the grilled bacalhau was almost raw. When I politely told the waiter that they were being rude they shrugged, and gave me the bill. 40 Euros. expensive for the worst food experience in Souther Europe, cheap for the experience of learning that it is possible to have such a bad experience in this part...

Ieri sera abbiamo deciso di provare la cucina del mediterraneo. Sapevamo che il pesce era sicuramente ottimo perché proveniente dalla "catena mediterraneo" pescivendolo di via Niutta dal quale ci riforniamo abitualmente. Che dire, consigliati egregiamente, abbiamo mangiato una frittura di calamarelle, saporitissime e croccantissime e la porzione molto soddisfacente. Abbiamo proseguito con tacos di tartar di tonno e salmone, una esperienza per le papille gustative a dir poco stratosferica con un gusto croccante, fresco ed avvolgente. A seguire calamaro 2.0 anche lì il gusto ci ha riportati in un'altra dimensione con il calamaro fritto presentato in una forma insolita e con un sapore inconfondibile che ti invita ai successivi bocconi. Eravamo già sazi ma abbiamo voluto provare gli scialatielli al pesto di pistacchio e tartar di tonno...emozione pura, ad ogni forchettata una scoperta di gusto...ne avremmo mangiato ancora ancora ed ancora se non fosse stato che eravamo veramente più che sazi. Che dire ci ritorneremo per una nuova fantastica...

Excellent food, I have every intention of going back and slowly working my way through the menu as soon as I find an excuse to spend a few days in Naples again. Very friendly and compotent staff, and a barman who introduced me to a 'smoky negroni', fantastic, but best not...
