The pasta and the pizza were generally good. The service was generally OK-although quite slow. The prices were OK. However, we were very disappointed with one of our orders. We ordered pasta ragu and we were given pasta with just tomato and basil. I wasn’t sure whether this was a mistake and I asked whether what they brought as was ragu and the gentleman said it was. I then asked where is the mince/meat and he said that there is no meat in ragu, it’s just tomato and basil, which is clearly not the case. I asked what’s the name of the past with meat and he said it’s ‘spaghetti bolognese’. I don’t even know if that exists in Italy, but if it does, that’s fine. The problem is that we ordered ragu and we were given pasta with tomato only and we were told that this is ragu! So we felt like he hasn’t been serious and he clearly lied to us. I’ve never heard of ragu pasta with no meat. The receipt we were given stated the name of our pasta as ‘ traditional Neapolitan’ or something like that in Italian- and not ragu. So it was clear we were given something else and we were made to believe that we were given the correct thing,...
Read moreThe pizza was very good but a wine was the worst I've ever had in my life. It comes out of a tap so it's pressurized and it has kind of a bubbly taste that never goes away. Do not order it. This is why we saw everybody else drinking beer. We did ask the waitress if we could order a different drink and wanted to see the menu to pick something else to drink from. She never came back to our table after that to even bring us a drink menu. We did our best to try to get her attention or a different person with no luck. We would have loved to have tried a different wine or beer at that point, but we had finished our pizza and it...
