We came from Hungary to Naples for a few days of sightseeing, and we never thought that a small corner pizzeria in the outskirts of the city would impress us the most. We were curious to try the world-famous Neapolitan pizza, so we visited many iconic places in the city center, but the real magic wasn’t there—it was at a lucky encounter with Pizzeria del Corso. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew it was going to be great: only locals around, delicious aromas in the air, and wonderfully kind people working there. It felt exactly how you’d imagine it—warm, welcoming, and truly family-like. The pizzas are simple in toppings, yet so much more than that. Honestly, this experience alone made the trip to Naples worth it, and I truly hope I’ll have the chance to return to this lovely hidden gem. With much love and hugs from your Hungarian friend, Ádám :)

The staff was hardworking and was doing their best. The oven might have been too hot…
The fried rice ball had black pepper in it so our four year-old child was not a fan. The fried zucchini flower was tasty. Our pizzas were burnt and bitter, I got the one with mortadella and pistachio but the burnt taste overwhelmed...
