We ate here as a close last minute decision and had a fantastic meal of broccoli rabe, spinach salad, arancini, linguine with mushrooms and a steak and fries with a lovely aglianico wine - the food was fantastic but the warm, thoughtful and welcoming service from Genarro made the meal perfect. We decided to go back the next night and let Genarro choose our meal - what a great decision - bruschetta, anchovies and fish to start, incredible spaghetti with clams followed by grilled prawn and squid - all amazing. By this time we are sharing dog photos with Genarro and hope he visits us in the US. We were stopped by a barely speaking English waiter (one of the older looking ones)
He told my S.O to come back at opening time 8pm with a flick of the wrist.
I guess he didn't dare speak the same way to a man since he actually paid attention to me when I showed up.
They don't accustom themselves to dietary restrictions, so be wary.
I got to meet the owner too, he had more pride than sense in his overinflated head.
