La Torre del Monastero — Restaurant in Neive

This was a great surprise and pleasure. Family run restaurant in a small village. The chef is a young talented guy, cooking local traditional dishes, using fresh local ingredients with a lot of attention to details. Flavors are superb. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. We were off season, so was easy to get a table, but I was told that on the peak of the truffles season, for example, you need to book a table...

Extremely good dinner, we (six people) have enjoyed different antipasti, primi and some secondi. If there would be one thing to ask to optimize, then serving all food at the same time. But this would just add a sixth star... ;-) Also the service was very good, always taking care. I guess it is the whole family being active here... Strong recommendation! And please take a Grappa...

Ieri sera abbiamo cenato in questa osteria. Premessa: siamo arrivati alle 10 e senza prenotazione, il ristorante era pieno, ma siamo stati accolti dalla signora Caterina che insieme al suo staff ha reso questa cena davvero unica. Lei sorridente, ottimista, gentile e disponibilissima. Lo staff altrettanto gentile e preparato. Abbiamo cenato con un carpaccio di manzo affumicato con rucola, pomodorini e grana come antipasto, molto buono! Abbiamo proseguito io con ravioli del plin con tartufo bianco ed il mio compagno con uova al tegame con tartufo bianco. Tartufo grattato sulla portata, anche con abbondanza, dopo avercelo mostrato e fatto annusare. Entrambi i piatti squisiti. Comolimenti allo chef Fabrizio. Abbiamo proseguito con un dessert di gelato alla crema anch'esso un buon gelato, cremoso. Il locale è accogliente, tipico da osteria, molto pulito. Il marito di Caterina è un esperto cantiniere, saprà indirizzarsi con grande esperienza sul vino rigorosamente del territorio più adatto a voi. Consigliatissimo! Noi non vediamo l'ora...
