Possibly the best place we found during our week long visit to Olbia. In the morning it is full of locals on the way to work, grabbing their coffee al banco before a big day. Everyone seems to know each other and you see many waves and yells of “ciao!” as a customer enters. The espresso and pistachio cornetto are to die for and price is incredibly reasonable. €5 for 2 cappuccino and 2 cornetto! In the evening it is the stereotypical aperitivo hour but done in the best way. The aperol spritz was the best we had in the city and the meat and cheese plate varied day to day but was always exceptional. We also tried the local wine, verementino di Gallura, which is excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming and greeted us like friends! Special mention to Chris who worked in the evenings and was a ray of sunshine. I will be sad to leave La Dolce...
