I thought this would a be average sushi experience. I was completely wrong and blown away on many different levels. It's Sunday evening my girlfriend and I walk in around 7pm, not too busy, we look around and the restaurant is nicely decorated with a cherry blossom tree centerpiece. As soon as we were seated the lights go out because of an intense rain storm. The servers make a prompt announcement that they need 20 minutes to adjust to the unforseen situation. I ask if we could have an Ichnusa beer while my girlfriend and I wait for the insanity outside in the form of high winds and cat and dog rain down pours to subside. We get our beer for two, (big bottle), in less than a minute. We enjoy the beer, the lights come on, back in business. We order sushi, sashimi, seaweed salad, eel, salmon, tuna, shrimp tampura, and it's all incredible. I've been to Nobu at Cesar's Palace, and Sushi Line is better, the service is better, the quality is better, you taste the fish, it's fresh. This place blew my mind, it's 100x better than any sushi restaurant that I've been to in the US, and I've been east to west. On top of that everyone was very friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask for more. Sardinia what an...
Read moreWe drove past this place and checked google for reviews and that made us want to try this place out. We made a reservation for 21:30, 2 persons. Once we were seated the waiter, super nice and helpful guy, told us that the place closes at 22:30. This startled us because on google and on their website it was noted that they close at 23:00. So we had to stuff all our food in only an half hour.. because of course first you get instructions and after that you have to pick what u want and wait till it gets served. We went home with a box with what we couldn’t eat in a half a hour and became sick because we had to stuff everything. We could not enjoy our food although the sushi was great. PLEASE CHANGE THE CLOSING TIME AND WARN YOUR CUSTOMERS. And to the waiter that helped us, the young man with the buzz-cut, thank you. We noticed you felt really bad and did everything to satisfy us. And please, dim the lights, it feels like a dental office. There is...
Read moreIt was a pleasant and surprising experience. Large space and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was our first visit and they explained us kindly how this place works. You receive a tablet and can place your order, just like online shopping. There is a great choice of different dishes, sushi, soups and deserts. We didn’t have to wait long and our dishes had been served. It tasted really good and fresh made. My partner asked about re arranging one dish into a non meat dish, since she is vegetarian. It was absolutely no problem and taken with a kind smile. Also different, when you are done, you dont need to wait for any waitress being free, you just take your tablet to the cashier and can pay. In front of the local, right under the bridge, you have plenty parking...
