Nuova Taverna Roberteschi — Restaurant in Orte

This place has some of the best food in Orte. It's perfect for a romantic evening or a special event, but I mostly go on my own or with a friend at least once or twice a week. I haven't made it through the whole menu yet but everything I've tried was absolutely delicious. These are authentic, wonderful Italian dishes. There's a large seafood pasta selection as well and lots of amazing wine choices to go with it. I'm still not familiar with the local wines, but the owner is always happy to recommend a wine to accompany the food and his selections are top part. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the quality of food and service.

We had lunch at Taverna Roberteschi on a quiet Tuesday after the town's festa season. The outside court yard was comfortable and quiet with only a few people having lunch. The service was efficient, despite the obvious tiredness of the wait staff. The food was excellent. Had an excellent experience. The only non locals in the entire place. Food excellent quality and tasty. Our waitress spoken little English but understood everything we asked about- our Italian wasn’t the best. The bruschetta plate was my favorite, but others enjoyed the seafood platter.
