Charming Living Room-Style Restaurant with Stunning Sunset View!

A super cute, cozy little restaurant with a warm, homey feel and a beautiful sunset view! The place serves traditional homemade dishes, and you can really tell; it’s run by a lovely couple, with the husband in the kitchen and the wife handling service.

I started with the fried vegetables (honestly a bit too much batter for my taste, but still flavorful), followed by pasta with fresh tomatoes, basil, and olive oil; absolutely delicious! For dessert, I had their signature chocolate soufflé, which was rich and indulgent. All of this paired perfectly with a great glass of Primitivo.

Following three dinners in Ostuni, this gem was our favourite by far. It is located slightly off the tourist track by about 100 meters but the set menu is absolutely delicious in its use of local ingredients and flavours. The waiter was extremely friendly and in the end, the chef came down personally and handed us a Spessite branded plate to take home. The value was also fantastic with the set menu costing only €19. We are here rather than staying. A very friendly restaurant, of husband and wife, with gorgeous views. It felt like we were being looked after by a long lost Italian aunt! Wholesome, hearty, tasty - we had the Spessite mixed antipasti (so much food!!). And then two pasta dishes, and meatballs. I loved the meatballs. We were recommended Negroamaro red wine, and enjoyed that whilst watching the sun go down. Excellent value...
