The staff is very helpful and courteous about restaurant recommendations the hotel is so well located literally steps away from the main square, yet tucked away on a quiet no traffic side street. |The price for the accommodations is quite reasonable for this quality of accommodation. WARNING , make sure if you are driving there that you put the parking lot for the hotel as the destination ( Contrada, Via Peppino Orlando, 72017 Ostuni BR ) which is a kilometer away from the hotel. Do not put the hotel directly in your GPS. This is because the hotel is located in the center of the historic zone and cars are prohibited. The hotel is an old traditional building located high in the old town.|The location is great, being close to all of the sites, bars and restaurants of Ostuni.|Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. |The standard room was large (by Italian standards) and comfortable, reflecting the historical age of the building. |Breakfast was included and provided a reasonable selection of food and drinks.|We arrived by train into Ostuni station and took the shuttle bus (€2) to the edge of the old town. We spent two nights in this hotel. It’s a converted convent very interesting room layout. The only complaint I have is the shower was so small that if you were overweight, it might be a problem getting in and out television didn’t have any English I’m getting used to that no CNN or BBC that would’ve been nice. Breakfast was lovely. I had the best biscotti I’ve had in a long time. All the cakes were good.
