La Conchiglietta — Restaurant in Pachino

there second week of September 2014 , had no problem getting a sea side view, balcony no reservations just walked in owners pleasant and polite , room, bed ,bathroom very clean we were there 4 nights have to ask for fresh towels after a day, good air conditioner the restaurant is down below has a huge potential to be noisy during the busy season we would sleep listening to the waves crashing but would not want to be there during June threw Augest , the breakfast coupons are for across the street your normal coffee, croissant ,granite hotel very good location in the middle of all you want to do nice little beach 5 minutes walk down the street, we tried the restaurant down stairs in the same building not good ,food was a big let down, the little grocerie store across the street was great could pick up some custom made sandwiches and some cold beers to bring to the beach the guy there was real nice WiFi strong, Marzamemi is a nice place lots...

We were here with a group of 20 guests. The owner is incredibly rude. Because I took 30 seconds to order he got angry and told me that he needs to work. My tuna steak was paper thin and over done. The first bite I took was nothing but scales. Gave half of it to the cats that.were walking around. Tried ordering the salad it was like the pieces of lettuce which would wash away in the sink. The owner even made a scene, when we ordered caffee, screaming that we were ordering it too soon. Everyone else was as unhappy as I was. Save yourself the money and don't ruin your mood...

I read contrasting reviews about this place, and based from my experience, I can confirm that staff is very friendly but service takes too long. Over 20 minutes to order and then 40 minutes for a dish is honestly a lot. A couple in front of me gave up and went away.

The atmosphere is nice, just by the sea. Too bad for the numerous cats wandering through the tables, but, well, it’s just me being annoyed by this.

As far as food is concerned, I was satisfied with my choices, but people with me didn’t enjoy their meal. I guess on peak weeks quality is expected to be...
