Liccamuciula — Restaurant in Pachino

The restaurant is at a very beautiful spot. the decor and the prices make you think that you will eat great food. That was not the case. ( But that was a problem in Sicily in general ) We order 2 plates of pasta, one caponata, one tuna bianco, a fish and we ordered 2 bottles of white wine. The wine and the fish were really good, tasty and value for money 👍 All of the other dishes were badly cooked and presented like a homemade food from your mom. Not something you expect from a place like this. The problem with the waiters was that they asked you if everything is ok every 3 minutes and they were always trying to take our plate while still eating ! They were trying to empty the tables fast so they could refill again. The deserts were like they have been bought from a local bakery. They were not even trying. We paid around 50€ per person only to be hungry and...

Honestly, this place was kind of meh. This plate is their “key” one and it was a bit underwhelming.

EDIT: I appreciate the restaurant's response to my original review. I would like to add that it was not fair of me to judge the entire restaurant based on a single plate. Often, one does not know a restaurant until one either tastes their bread or tries one of their dishes. Perhaps their other menu offerings are good, I do not know. I do appreciate the long traditions of the region.

To the restaurant:

We do recommend improving your server response times to the new guests: we sat at your restaurant at a slow time (3:30pm) and yet we had to wait for 10 minutes until your waiter acknowledged us. we waited for about 15 minutes to get our plate, which did not require any cooking. Il prezzo non è ben proporzionato rispetto al piatto che offrono, sia per quantità che per qualità. Premetto che ci siamo seduti al "terzo turno" cioè verso le 23.00, quindi potrei in parte giustificare la bassa qualità del cibo. Anche se credo che un ristorante al centro della piazza principale di marzamemi debba dare un servizio impeccabile fino all'ultimo secondo. Abbiamo preso polpo e patate e Alalonga. Le patate erano dure e leggermente crude, il polpo gommoso. L' alalonga non era assolutamente di prima scelta. I servizi igienici lasciavano davvero molto a desiderare, tutto sporco e guasto, mancava il sapone per le mani, non c'era carta igienica e, gestori lasciatemelo dire, non esistono scuse di nessun genere per un ristorante che è pieno dalla mattina alla sera. Dedicate del personale ai wc piuttosto che rimproverare la gente che non vede il cartello "guasto" su una porta a soffietto aperta! Non vi costa neanche così tanto e ci guadagnate solo in belle figure. Adesso invece vi ritrovate una recensione per lo più negativa che magari non vi intacca così tanto come pensate, perché tanto ci sono i turisti, però da Siciliano quale sono posso dirvi che non consiglierei a nessuno dei miei amici che vengono da altre città di mangiare al vostro locale.

aggiornamento dopo la risposta del gestore: Le sue risposte non sono per nulla costruttive in realazione alla sua attività. Sembra di discutere con un bambino offeso che non vuole che si insulti il suo giocattolo. Per i servizi igienici invece non ha niente da dire? Non la racconta la storia delle sette porte sostituite e dei dieci scarichi riparati? Ma mi faccia il piacere!

-Ulteriore aggiornamento dopo la seconda risposta assurda del gestore: I suoi servizi igienici montano delle porte a SOFFIETTO, tra l'altro inutili e inutilizzabili perché non si chiudono a chiave, se lei e i suoi collaboratori mettete il cartello "guasto" su una porta a soffietto che poi il cliente trova APERTA, è chiarissimo (come ho scritto sopra) che il cliente non potrà leggere alcuna scritta, quindi entrerà e farà quello che si fa in un servizio igienico! Mi sembra la base della logica. Quindi attenzione alle accuse di maleducazione e guardi prima bene in casa sua. È lei che offre un servizio ed è un servizio palesemente scadente! Non si offenda e cerchi di riparare al danno piuttosto che starnazzare inutili false accuse! Possiamo continuare per tutto il tempo...
