Big Ben Cafè — Restaurant in Piombino

As a foreigner, I felt taken advantage of. The wine prices in the area are around 5-6. They asked me for 7 euro and I can't verify the price since there is no list. Then I see people eating food (complimentary with a drink) which no one told me. The waitress didn't mention it and the owner walking around never said a word of it. Abbiamo chiesto un aperol spriz ed un hugo.ci hanno portato un campari spriz e un hugo che devo dire che di peggio non ne ho mai bevuti (nemmeno quando a casa me lo faccio io) gli stuzzichini a base di insalate di pasta e riso e qualche pezzetto di focaccia molto mediocri ...il prezzo è nella norma ma la qualità è un altra cosa.inoltre all esterno i tavoli sono molto vicini e chiusi da mezze vetrate così quando il vicino...

Siamo andati per caso e ci siamo anche ritornati. Una location quasi vintage, un proprietario professionale, gentile, simpatico. I primi ad usufruire della sua attenziine sono stati i nostri due pelosi a cui è stata portata una ciotola d acqua a testa appena arrivati. Cibo buono, particolare (spaghetti al polpo, ravioli alla cernia, baccalà fritto) e in quantità adeguate/abbondanti. Prezzi giusti. Complimenti....
