Brulotto Rumme & Fiamme — Restaurant in Piombino

Coca Cola scam, The place is amazing, beautiful view and atmosphere but the waiters are guided into scamming tourists. First drink we ordered was Hugo and the waiter said “Coca Cola, right?” (??? it’s not even close). Long story short they brought us more colas than we ordered - wanted to give us five instead of two. This would be okay, but price of cola on the menu was 3,5€. When we wanted to pay the price has risen to 7€, so we came to the waiter and he showed us, that behind some random doors inside there is another menu (????) with happy hours and the price of coca after 4pm was 7€ instead of 3,5 :)

Obvious trick to get more money that I just don’t like. That’s why one star - hope they’ll change that “happy hour prices” because...

È un locale storico della città. Quando lo iniziai a frequentare negli anni 90, era di proprietà di persone che sapevano fare il loro lavoro. Adesso è inqualificabile. Se non fosse per la vista, una delle piu belle in assoluto nel.raggio di qualche centinaio di km, sarebbe fallito dopo 2 giorni. Il proprietario serve ai tavoli con spavalderia e superficiale arroganza. Ordinato un Americano lo.scorso anno, sembrava un succo di frutta ed alle nostre rimostranze, eravamo in 4, disse che la bevuta era fatta a regola d'arte e che usa solo prodotti di alta qualità. Bene, ma non benissimo, perche da gestore avrebbe dovuto dire che avrebbe rifatto fare la bevuta. Ed invece avendolo fatto di nostra iniziativa, pretendeva di farcele pagare entrambe. Per non parlare di quel che viene offerto insieme alla bevuta come stuzzichini. Il minimo indispensabile per accompagnare la permanenza seduti. Io ci son tornato.quest!'anno dopo oltre un anno e purtroppo, ovviamente, non è cambiato nulla. Prezzi molto alti, servizio scadente e arroganza e battute fuori luogo da parte silenzio gestore. Se non fosse per la vista, farebbe la fame. Sconsigliato se volte bere in qualità e un buon aperitivo. Ottimo per la vista..., ma la non qualità pian piano verrà fuori. Bei miei tempi quando Sandro, Betta, Roby e Samu, Marco ci offrivano risate, familiarità ed armonia, oltre a bevute fatte...

We had a drink and some fingerfood. Sitting outside (in December...) with beautiful view of the sun set, isola d'Elba and corsica it's for sure one of the most romantic places to be around piombino. Food is delicious and the personnel is very friendly. Toilet is a bit out of date and should have a renovation, but that's just a small comment. We will for sure come back here and try other food...
