We were recently in Italy and had the wonderful opportunity to visit Pizzeria Ristorante Piropo. I must say that we were absolutely delighted with the whole experience.
Let's start with the atmosphere - the interior of the restaurant is very nice and tastefully decorated. We felt right at home. The staff, especially Miss Natasha, was very professional and friendly, perfect in several languages and incredible in her ability to satisfy all the guests' needs. They welcomed us immediately and provided excellent service throughout our visit.
Now to the food itself. The pizza was absolutely fantastic! The dough was perfectly thin, crispy and deliciously baked. The ingredients were fresh and the choice of flavours was great. We had the opportunity to try several different types of pizza and each one was delicious. Whether you're a fan of the traditional Margherita or prefer something more original, Pizzeria Ristorante Piropo definitely has something for you.
As well as the pizzas, we also enjoyed the fresh pasta. They were excellently prepared, al dente and complemented with tasty sauces. We even tried their desserts and were delighted. It really was the perfect end to our great meal.
All in all, Pizzeria Ristorante Piropo is without doubt one of the best places we have ever eaten. Excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere and great staff make this place a real treat. If you get the chance to visit this pizzeria, don't miss it. You won't be disappointed!
Once again a big thank you for a...
Read moreWell, it's a kind of story, we went outside to have walk in the park at night, while passing restaurants, we decided to have a quick meal, just a pizza, I came to this restaurant because it looked cozy and classic Italian. Waitress asked about the order, I have ordered a pizza and a salad, as we weren't intended to eat and drink much at 10 pm. For drinks I said nothing, just tap water is fine. At this moment I figured she didn't like it already that I haven't ordered much. Some one just other waiter just dropped a basket of small breads without us ordering it, we assumed it's probably kind of complementary side dish or starter some restaurants offer.
Anyway we waited for about 15 minutes, pizza came first and then salad after that, pizza was so watery and all toppings were mushy and falling before getting to the mouth, the tap water never got delivered, salad wasn't so fresh, and at the end they charged us extra 4 euros for the that basket with full of old breads.
In summary, bad hosting and rude attitude specially when you don't order much, below average food quality because of lousy watery pizza and overcharging customer for what you...
Read moreWe would dine at Piropo at least twice a week from 2017-2019. This is a family owned establishment with some amazing home cooked food. The quality of the Pasta and Pizza is always outstanding. The lasagna in my opinion is the best in Tuscany (it is also pork free). They also serve a very tasty grilled chicken dish for those in need of protein. Some of the members of the staff speak English well. Reservations during peak times is recommended, but we never had difficulty in obtaining a table. They have a large selection of wine and alcoholic drinks. The prices are very competitive and the quality of the food makes it a incredible value for the money. If in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this establishment. AMEX and other major credit...
