Miramare Resort — Hotel in Pisa

We stayed at the Miramare Resort in the second week of July and we liked very much. We hired the Trilo apartment (2 bedrooms + a lofty) and the apartment was more then enough. The resort has its own private beach and in the Trilo apartment deal includes 4 beach chairs and 2 beach umbrellas which it is pretty handy as they are not really cheap to hire during high season. The apartment has a small kitchen containing an ok amount of utensils. There is no water kettle, a micro or a toaster so if you like a toast in the morning you might have to use the oven or just buy fresh bread instead. There are a few bakeries nearby and even at the small food markets (Conrad and Coop). There is no pool either, but we never thought about it neither we missed it. The beach and the sea is just a couple of minutes away. Service was very friendly. Andrada was very helpful and speaks really good English. The place felt very safe and even at the beach we felt very safe. They have life-guards right by the water for extra peace of mind. The cost line is nice and clean although the concept of private beaches and chairs and brollies covers basically all the way to Marina di Pisa = many options to choose if you want to stay somewhere else. Pisa itself is some 20mins away and even Florence is less than an hour away. Obs: The water is not that shallow so be carefull with small kids. Tramite un pacchetto acquistato con Ignas tour ho soggiornato in questo residence in un bilocale con moglie e due figli in mezza pensione scegliendo al mio arrivo la cena da fare presso l'albergo Tornese di cui ne fa parte la struttura , il tutto completo di riassetto giornaliero e servizio spiaggia. Il residence é mantenuto in buono stato, sicuramente ristrutturato di recente, con mobilio di buona manifattura, una bella vasca idro, aria condizionata e per il mio soggiorno a pian terreno si è goduto di un bel terrazzino per poter mangiare. Unico neo sono le pulizie di scarsa qualità: al mio arrivo ho trovato polvere, sedie in tessuto sporche di cibo dai precedenti affittuari, piano cottura e vetri unti, cappa inguardabile filtro aria condizionata toppato di acaro…insomma un peccato per una struttura così bella perdersi in un servizio di bassa qualità e di un servizio wifi non presente. Per chi avesse bimbi piccoli il posto per i passeggino è limitato nell'ingresso e quando diventano più di due, ostacolano come nel mio caso, l'ingresso in casa. La posizione è ottima a pochi passi dal mare ideale per anziani e bambini il fondo é ghiaioso e va subito profondo,no giochi in spiaggia, almeno la nostra convenzionionata con "il girasole" con molti ristoranti,bar,gastronomie,gelaterie per il turista. Il punto a favore è l'hotel, dove si cena in una sala al quinto piano il quale offre un panorama mozzafiato, cibo buono con portate di primi secondi e dolci sfiziose e delicate, così i contorni a buffet e le colazioni .Molto bravi il personale della sala sempre accogliente, gentile, disponibile e attento alle esigenze dei bambini .Un consiglio per chi non conoscesse la zona, in spiaggia portatevi le scarpette da mare il fondo ed il bagno asciuga è ghiaioso e si rischia di farsi male ai piedi…spero di esservi...

Great apartments. All apartments have a loft area with second bed and sofa. Will need to buy your own dish soap, sponge, paper towels for doing dishes. The manager was lovely and very helpful. They allow animals so I was able to bring my kitty, who also enjoyed his stay!

The only drawback is the TV downstairs next to the kitchen table - there isn't a sofa to sit on and relax while watching TV. You also can't hookup an Amazon Firestick because there is only one wall outlet which the TV is plugged in to.

Close walking distance to restaurants.
