Lido Chiringuito "Cocktails bar - Ristorante - Pizzeria" — Restaurant in Pizzo

Me and my partner had been driving from Bari all day and were really just craving some ”proper sea food”, but not overly expensive.

I then found this on Google Maps. For the price I’d say that this definitely should be in the 5 star section.

It was around 22:45, and we were the only guests there. The kind owner asked us if we could stick to just one pasta dish since she was alone, so we went for the ”Linguine ai Frutti di Mare” (Linguini with Sea Food), and it was utterly insane. There must’ve been both olive oil, butter and other perfectly chosen natural flavour enhancers.

We also went for the fried squid and octopus platter - which also was perfectly seasoned.

I understand how all of this might sound, but the experience was just great.

Thanks a lot, again. If I would live here I would come a looot!

The breathtaking views from the beachside patio were truly a highlight of our dining experience. As we settled in, it was evident that the seafood was freshly caught that very day, adding a delightful touch to our meal. While the menu offered a variety of tempting dishes, some could benefit from a bit more seasoning to elevate their flavors. The service, though a tad slow, seemed to reflect the relaxed pace of life in Italy, which we appreciated, yet it was surprising that a simple margherita pizza took nearly 30 minutes to arrive, especially for a child waiting eagerly. The perfect spot for delicious food. We stayed nearby for 2 weeks and ate here most evenings! Food and atmosphere is everything you want on holiday. Situated right on the beach front we spent long evenings watching the sunset, drinking and eating. The food is spectacular, hence why we kept coming back! The wine is delicious. The staff go above and beyond! Dominico is the best and ensured our experience was perfect every night. A big thankyou to Umberto who greeted us and treated us so well.
