Ristorante Isolabella — Restaurant in Pizzo

Unfortunately, very mediocre food and super bad service. The waiter took our order after 45 mins we have been seating, the food arrived late for some of us, whilst others did not get what they ordered at all. When asking waiters we were told that “in 10 mins” or “soon” we would have gotten everything we ordered, but unfortunately it never arrived. Waiters were very annoyed and rude when answering to our requests. We got charged the wrong amounts of what we ordered (3 side dishes for 18€ instead of 12€ as indicated in the menu). Overall, prices are on the high end and totally not worth the quality and the taste (eg. pizza topped with garlic powder - a pity for all the good and fresh ingredients that can be found in Calabria). This place has a nice garden where it is pleasant to dine in summertime. The appetizers are excellent, while the pasta courses are good but not above average. Prices are within the range of this typical Calabrese tourist destination. The whites gouse-wine is very good and also the fosg courses like deep-fried squids...
