EL Mordisco — Restaurant in Polcenigo

We came for a late lunch to El Mordisco; it was around 1430...understood it was a bit of an odd time but they were still open. After getting seated, we waited about 15 minutes before our drinks and order was asked for. We received the San Daniela appetizer, which came with essentially 6 pieces of white bread toast (the equivalent of one piece of toast). Then we ordered a pasta dish and a grilled salmon for the primi/secondi...after roughly 45 minutes (1540) we decided to leave. We were going to pay for what we did eat/drink, 2 spritz bianchi, the San Daniela appetizer, and bottle of aqua naturale (water)- our bill came to 26,50€. Extremely steep for 2 drinks and an appetizer and over 45 minutes waiting-definitely will...

Fantastic staff, always great food. Menu in English and a nice mix of traditional Italian and international dishes. I had a fantastic Angus burger & my wife a Frito Misto, huge portions, we were unable to finish all. Been coming here for a few years now, was never disappointed. Their pizzas are great as well!! Instead of getting a bottle of wine, try a 1/2 liter of their house red, it's fantastic and enjoyable for very little...

The food was excellent and the staff was so friendly. Our waitress spoke English and was very sweet. Our daughter wanted pasta pomodoro but it wasn’t on the menu. The waitress said they could easily make it for her and was so accommodating. The pizzas we ordered were delicious, as was the tagliatelle with mushrooms. We plan on coming back and can’t wait to try more...
