Sarò prolisso perché è giusto così: Louis, un'esperienza che ho vissuto a pieno anni fa in cui andai per la prima volta. Tutto era buono, i prezzi erano in linea con il mercato e il servizio era veloce e cortese. Ora cos'è rimasto del vecchio Louis? Solo il fatto che è buono, FINE.

Già dalla chiamata per la prenotazione mi sembrava di aver chiamato un posto triste, tipo di quelli in cui non va nessuno e si innervosiscono se chiami. La risposta è data con un tono smorto, le risposte secche (come per chiudere velocemente la telefonata) e, appunto, svogliate. So che è ferragosto ma un pò di animo in più non fa male.

Dico "Va be, è ferragosto, sarà svogliata di lavorare, la capisco". Arrivo e attendo 10 minuti pieni perché qualcuno si degnasse di arrivare in cassa e farci accomodare. Ci accomodiamo e notiamo un locale un pò triste rispetto anche solo a 2-3 annetti fa. È bello, ti senti tipo in un locale che ti ha fatto tuo fratello un pò svitato (in senso buono) e questo è super gradevole.

Ordiniamo, la cameriera ovviamente con un tono e con poca voglia di fare oltre alla divisa completamente sporca e macchiata, attendiamo i piatti e dopo ben 45 MINUTI (locale VUOTO, ci saranno state al massimo 10 persone dentro, letteralmente, e forse 1 rider + un ragazzo per l'asporto. Per le sedie e tavoli che ha louis, è vuoto.) e ci portano due panini che sono sottodimensionati rispetto a qualche annetto fa, dove ti saziavano veramente tanto, e uno (vegano) che era come i panini da 1€ di note catene di fast food. Posso capire che le richieste vegane siano poco scelte e delle volte possano dar fastidio, ma se dovete portare al tavolo una roba che costa 15€, grande le metà di un panino di altre altre catene perché dovrei scegliere Louis? Perché è buono?

Si, Louis si riconferma SUPER buono e lo posso consigliare se volete assaporare qualcosa di buono, ma si ferma a quello perché il conto è stato il colpo finale. Tovagliette in ecopelle/pelle e quanti in lattice food grade possono aumentare il prezzo del coperto, MA 2.50€ DI COPERTO NO, sopratutto facendo pagare l'acqua in bottiglia REFILLATA 0.5L 2.50€ (che al ristorante pago 3€ la bottiglia CHIUSA da LITRO) e 14.90€ di panino veg di cui mi son già lamentato che non valeva sicuro il prezzo. 70€ per 3 panini, una porzione di fritti (che sembravano surgelati), 3 acque e una coca. (Per darvi un'idea, 5 anni fa al mio compleanno pagai 120€ per: 5 panini, 5 tra cui bibite e birre senza contare le acque, 2 piatti di patatine esterne a quelle date con il panino, 3-4 dolci e caffè).

Lascio questa recensione perché Louis mi è sempre piaciuto e l'ho sempre consigliato ma dopo questa esperienza, purtroppo, non lo consiglierò ne ci tornerò nel...

Louis Burger is one of those "trendy" spots. They're limited to outdoor seating so MAKE A RESERVATION! I ordered the Louis burger. The meat was piled high, very aesthetically pleasing for €16,00. The meat on my burger was reminiscent of philly cheese steak meat but cut thicker, more chewy. The meat looked and tasted like it was sliced recently, and thrown on a flat top and seared. By the time it made it to my table, it was a little dry, chewy, and lacked seasoning. I think they allow you to season it with the table salt and pepper but I always hated a burger I had to add to. Maybe it's the culture? Either way, it's a decent burger.

As an American, I absolutely love burgers and this place exceeded my expectations for being in Italia. Normally, burgers here have not been the best and I'm such a burger fan. However, this place is hands up the best burger I've tasted. The presentation of my burger was good and it was fast coming out. I love the cool fun chill atmosphere with the bright colors, I love the fun variety of burgers to choose from and also the fries. For the first time, ive never seen a burger place that gives out gloves for messy burgers. Love the setup, love the food, love the service, love that it is open after 12 instead of 6pm and lastly, I love that it is good burgers that I can depend on to be good.
