Kalura has a great beachfront setting with a relaxed, stylish atmosphere — ideal for drinks at sunset. We appreciated the chilled vibe and even caught a live percussion set (a guy playing a giant gong), which added something different to the evening.
However, the food and service experience didn’t quite match the setting. The lasagne we ordered was cold in the middle and needed to be reheated three times before it was right. One of the water glasses we were served was cracked all the way through and actually leaking. Thankfully, the waiter was polite, attentive, and handled everything well — credit to him for doing his best.
