Il Cavatappo — Restaurant in Porto Recanati

We were initially impressed by the beauty of the restaurant as we walked in, but unfortunately, the experience quickly declined from there. The menu is extremely limited, and the prices are exorbitant—22 Euros for a burger with no side dish is quite steep. Unfortunately, the burger itself was a complete disaster. It was made with a combination of flavors that simply didn’t belong together—boiled greens, pickled onions, barbecue sauce, relish, mayonnaise, and a fried egg. The result was a burger that was all over the place, with competing tastes that clashed rather than complemented. The flavor was overwhelmingly bitter, and the entire dish was unpleasant.

My wife ordered the Caesar salad, and it was nothing like a traditional Caesar salad. The ingredients and preparation were far from what you’d expect from a simple, classic dish, making it a major letdown.

On top of the disappointing food, the service was painfully slow. Despite there only being two tables occupied, it took a staggering 45 minutes to be served. We left feeling extremely frustrated and dissatisfied.

Overall, this restaurant is a beautiful space, but sadly, the food and service do not match the ambiance. This chef should not be running such a lovely place—whether you’re after a burger, salad, or anything else, you’re better off...

Da molto tempo mi ero ripromessa di cenare in questo bistrò invogliata dalle immagini viste nei vari social. Che dire....il locale è davvero bello, piccolino ed accogliente, di ottimo gusto. I prezzi elevati, troppo. Innanzitutto con dei prezzi del genere ci si aspetterebbe di avere un entratina di benvenuto e un cestino di pane misto "particolare" come ormai quasi tutti i ristoranti della stessa categoria sono soliti fare. Ed invece pane anonimo e sottile che non sposa i gusti di tutti. Io mi sono presa un hamburger che visto sempre il prezzo e la tipologia di locale sarebbe dovuto esserre un tripudio di sapori ed invece era slegato, non si distingueva un sapore, tutto coperto da una quantitá eccessiva di taleggio. Il coniglio che ha preso il mio compagno buono, così come le patate arrosto. Il cameriere cortese e sobrio. Non lo so...Ritornerei ad assaggiare altro per dare una seconda possibilità ma dovrei essere certa di mangiare per come spendo....
