Osteria Tre Nodi — Restaurant in Porto San Giorgio

We had eaten here and it was just superb. I was first afraid of what kind of place is this restaurant when I started translating and it saying it didn't provide any soda or softdrink, won't cook in any specific way you like, etc (maybe it was due to Google translate) but it sounded harsh. We remained and what happend was one of the best dinners I ever had in Italy. The host (which also is the chef) is a great chef but beside that a great knowledge in wine and a great entertainer. His knowledge in wine is shown when he decided which wine suits with all the dishes being selected. And the wine fitted so good with all the dishes. Esperienza fantastica, il gestore é una persona squisita e cordiale, mentre cenavamo ci raccontava la sua vita e le ragioni della passione per il suo lavoro. Cibo ottimo, in quantità corrette e di pregevole fattura e freschezza. Il vino era buono e l’atmosfera bellissima, con musica classica e patriottica a tratti, ma senza mai scadere nel pacchiano. Per non parlare dei calamari scottati, serviti sotto le note di “Figaro” dall’oste stesso, con un tempismo spaziale. Assolutamente consigliato a chiunque voglia passare innanzitutto una bella serata, e soprattutto a chi vuole tirarsi su il morale dopo una giornata no. Dimostrazione perfetta di come noi italiani sulla ristorazione e l’intrattenimento non abbiamo rivali, e di come una persona andata all’estero e rientrata nel proprio paese, se animata da passione, sia in grado di ricreare ottime serate con la propria esperienza ed essere orgoglioso del proprio Paese.
