The Google Maps english 2023/02 information describes Tre Torri as 'down home' cooking-that is incorrect. I believe it is an attempt at finer dining as noted by the prices. We took lunch there and ordered the risotto which was priced at €25. It was explained the risotto was for minimum 2 persons and that was ok. As it turns out we paid €50 for two plates of risotto. Perhaps it is our misunderstanding but we would never pay €50 for two plates for rice if it had been explained clearly. "25€ per person" or " per portion" would make it clear. The risotto was with pear and walnut and was very if not too sweet for a first plate with a garnish of crushed walnuts and sugar. The San Pietro ( tilapia) fish at 25€ was very good. We consumed 3 glasses of wine and were billed for 4, until it was explained that we did not have 4 and they...
Read moreWe came a few days ago - while we were waiting in front of the restaurant, no one took care of us for 10 mins. Waiters walked back but no one would talk to us.
When we finally got a table, it took 25 mins to have a drink. We also ordered water right when we seated ... it arrived 35 mins later, after we asked 3 times, after we were almost done with our main course.
The appetizers were good, but the main plates were terrible. Especially, my friend got ravioli that were absolutely uncooked. Not al dente, just not cooked! We couldn’t eat them.
At this point, we decided to leave. The restaurant offered to cook them again, we refused since we had been there for 2 hours at this point and no one cared about us.
We ended up paying 120 eur and they even charged us the uncooked pasta (which moved my review from 2.5...
Read moreThis place treated us right from the get go. As we were looking at the menu in front of the restaurant we were each served with a complimentary glass of champagne. Upon sitting down we were also served a complimentary tasting of one of the items on their antipasta list. All the food was amazing! The portions were on the smaller side but the quality of the food was high. There was a small miscommunication (due to the language difference) about my partners meal so when they brought him the wrong item they quickly fixed the mistake by bringing him the entree he intended to order and allowed him to eat the original dish they served him without charge. Next time I find myself in Porto Venere I will absolutely be dining at this...
