If I could give six stars, I would! I was truly impressed by the experience at Elettra. The mixed fish appetizer was a delightful start, followed by a fresh caprese salad. The pesto linguine and tagliatelle with shellfish were both standout dishes, bursting with flavour. Even the bread was fresh, soft and flavourful. The staff was friendly and professional. And as if the food and service weren't enough, the breathtaking view of the sea added an extra touch of magic to the meal. Food is fresh, but nothing amazing. The best items on the menu are for two portions,.so if you can't eat 2 portions then you can't have that. I really wanted linguine and clams...but since I am in a hotel, I have no room for leftovers. So I ate something else. But that was ok. I feel like I died and went to heaven. Food you thought you knew is made more real and makes you feel alive. Nothing needs help. It is a profound experience appreciating truly excellent food. Oh, and there's the view, changing slowly as the light changes, lit here and there by the setting sun. The flavours and the view are now synesthesiastically bound together in my memory.
