We shared everything. Starters were simple but well-seasoned, the kind of food that makes you reach for bread to mop up what’s left. Pasta came out steaming, rustic, maybe a touch too soft, but still comforting. The mains were generous—classic, slow-cooked, and perfect for sharing.

In cerca di una trattoria per il mio 50 esimo assieme ai miei 3 amici di lungo corso ci imbattiamo in questa trattoria. La Proprietaria già durante la prenotazione telefonica mi era già piaciuta. Alle 20,30 ci presentiamo, bel locale credo da poco ristrutturato. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, sia antipasti che primi e dolci, non abbiamo preso i secondi, solo uno dei 3 "Gnari" ha preso il fegato alla veneziana con polenta che a detta sua era fatto molto bene. Credo che ci tornerò per i secondi, magari in primavera come suggerito dalla proprietaria, perché hanno l'estivo. Nel complesso siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti sia del cibo che del bere ed anche per il prezzo. La proprietaria mentre pagavamo ci dice che i 3 prosecchi ce li offre perché si era sbagliata e ci aveva dato 3 Franciacorta, in effetti erano troppo buoni per essere dei prosecchi 8). È stata gentilissima parlando poi le abbiamo detto che era il mio 50 esimo compleanno e lei tutta stupita e felice di vedere 3 amici ci chiede come siamo capitati da loro e ci prende in simpatia. Alla fine mi fa il regalo anche lei con una bozza di vino per altro apprezzatissima. La ringraziamo e tutti e 3 felici e con la panze piene c'è ne andiamo. Mentre usciamo si sente. Very nice and authentic place for a great dinner under the stars at a reasonable price. The home made pasta is awesome, the carne delicious and of serious serving size and the fish was also very good. All our desserts were very good - apple tart, pannacotta and tiramisu.
