Classico Kitchen Bar — Restaurant in Pozzuoli

The best place for PROPER APERITIVO and great food.

For the past two years, I have been coming here for the aperitivo. Their Negroni Sbagliato is the best of all the places I have been to in all of Pozzuoli (and Napoli). It's all about balance, and they do cocktails better than the rest; you simply can't beat it.

There are a lot of other places nearby, but I tell all my friends that Classico is the better option because it truly is. The service, quality, and price point are hard to beat. A proper aperitivo is sometimes hard to find in Italy, and this place does it well.

My friends and I were about to eat dinner next door (excellent tacos) when a storm passed through. It wasn't a good idea to leave, so my friends and I ate at the bar inside Classico. It was perfect. The chicken fries and meatballs for appetizers were better than some other places that specialize in fried chicken. I had a club sandwich that had real chicken in it (not the processed deli stuff). It was excellent. Classico just knows what they're doing, it is no wonder it is frequented by locals and expats the same.
