We (tourists) went to this perfect, nicely secluded little beach, near to Procida's port. We paid for 4 lounge beds and an umbrella - 20 euros I believe, and money well spent. The beach is very rocky, and those rocks get very hot, so having the bed is comfortable! But don't forget your feet, you may want to bring some slippers.

The location itself is very pretty, sheltered by a rock wall on one end, and the harbour pier on the other side. If you look out over the water, you can see the beach at Misemo, and a bit of Napels. It's safe enough here, but please note that there's no barrier keeping you from swimming out to sea, but those things are your own responsability. But the beach is small enough to make it easy to keep track of your children.

Food and drinks were fine, in fact, the hamburger I had here was very excellent, I was especially impressed about that. There is a dressing room, and showers, two even, but they seem to use coins (which I did not have nor get). But basically, everything you could need is here, ready to make your day an enjoyable one.

One point of serious criticism though. Since we're tourists, we don't know the local habits, which is why we unknowingly took someone else's lounge beds. Sorry! However, the gentleman in charge of renting out these beds was very rude and angry. He did not want to explain anything, he was just angrily shouting at my wife. Since he did not wear any clothing that could identify him as an employee of this place, I did not trust him and this angered the man even further. I was able to clear the issue with the (friendly) owner of the Lido, who explained the way these things work here (thanks for that!) but this man was a dark stain on the reputation of this place.

That being said, we had a wonderful, relaxed day on this beautiful island and at this...

My son love this place, food is excellent and the seawater is so crystal clear due to the fact that the beach is facing Procida channel i strongly suggest this location for every day.
