Pizzeria La Piazzetta — Restaurant in Riccione

(English & German below) Wat een verborgen parel! We ontdekten dit restaurant in onze laatste vakantieweek en waren direct verkocht. Na het eerste bezoek hebben we meteen nog twee keer gereserveerd — zó goed was het!

De sfeer is warm en gezellig, en het personeel is geweldig. Ze maakten oprecht contact met onze kinderen — de dames gaven complimenten over het make-up van onze dochters en de koks zwaaiden vrolijk vanuit de keuken. Ze deden zelfs hun best om Engels te spreken, terwijl wij ons Italiaans oefenden.

En de pizza’s? Mamma mia! Pure perfectie. Na het eten krijg je zelfs nog een klein flesje dropshot en limoncello.

Bij het afrekenen altijd een gezellig praatje. Als je in de buurt bent, moet je hier echt gegeten hebben!

Gegeten en gedronken met twee volwassenen en drie kinderen, ijsjes na (en een toetje). Gemiddeld gezien waren wij hier €65 kwijt. Met liefde fooi gegeven!

—————————— What a hidden gem! We discovered this restaurant during our last week of vacation and were blown away by the food. After our first visit, we immediately booked two more times — it’s that good!

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are simply wonderful. They made such a sweet connection with our kids — the ladies complimented our daughters on their makeup, and the chefs in the kitchen waved with big smiles. They even made an effort to speak English, while we happily practiced our Italian.

The pizzas? Mamma mia! Pure perfection. And as if that wasn’t enough, they treat you to a little bottle of dropshot and limoncello after your meal.

Always a friendly chat when paying the bill. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit!

—————————— Was für ein Geheimtipp! Wir haben dieses Restaurant in unserer letzten Urlaubswoche entdeckt und waren vom Essen einfach begeistert. Nach dem ersten Besuch haben wir sofort zwei weitere Abende reserviert — so gut war es!

Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend, und das Personal einfach großartig. Sie haben auch zu unseren Kindern einen liebevollen Kontakt aufgebaut — die Damen lobten das Make-up unserer Töchter, und die Köche winkten ihnen fröhlich zu. Sogar beim Englischsprechen haben sie sich Mühe gegeben, während wir unser Italienisch geübt haben.

Die Pizzen? Mamma mia! Einfach perfekt. Und als Krönung gibt es nach dem Essen noch ein kleines Fläschchen Dropshot und Limoncello.

The restaurant was undoubtely magnificent, it was a really positive impression for us here for the first time ever in Riccione. I went with 10 other people, everybody ate a pizza, and a cup of beer, and we have paid 123€. The pizzas' prices hover between 4,5€ and 7,5€. The personnel was really nice and correct. The food have made me speechless, it was for sure the best pizza I've ever had. And they have even brought us 2 3dl bottles of homemade Limoncello, and somewhat similar to Jägermeister, and some small cookies, speaking of which, were completely free. Prima sera in quel di Misano, optiamo per una pizza tranquilli cercando una location mai testata prima. Decido per La Piazzetta. Prima cosa da segnalare l'estrema gentilezza di tutto il personale cosa che, purtroppo, sta diventando una rarità. Bravi! Locale inserito in un contesto cittadino periferico, ampia terrazza all'aperto con tavoli in legno stile pub. Pizze buone, personalmente ho optato per una salsiccia, friarelli e olive taggiasche. Leggermente duri i friarelli ma nel complesso una buona pizza. Olio piccante molto poco piccante. Le mie figlie hanno invece optato per un calzone con ricotta e cotto, molto buono ed una salsiccia, patate e provola anche questa ben fatta. Come dolce una buona crema al mascarpone con un ottima consistenza ed il giusto equilibrio sulla dolcezza. Pizzeria da provare assolutamente se si cerca una location tranquilla in un contesto poco trafficato. Una piccola nota. Personalmente proibirei di fumare anche all'aperto perché comunque il fumo segue il vento e disturba...
