A Mareina — Restaurant in Rimini

Coming to eat here was not planned, my group had decided to go to eat to bounty but the place was full and we had to wait long if we wanted in. Therefore, we decided to go somewhere else, this place had great reviews but it shows as closed for dinner in Google, luckily it is not the case, they are open for dinner, this was their second week. After we sat the menu, Celeste brought the menu, it is mainly seafood base but I assure you the flavors are sooo fresh and everything is prepared on spot, food wise I give a solid 5, the service is also great but is only Celeste, hence, is difficult to get someone as fast as you may wish but is just a matter of time and business to pick up to get a second person I guess. For the atmosphere, the place is an open restaurant so it will depend on the weather, for us it was great but am sure if there is rain some areas may get wet, there was also no entertainment which maybe good for some but not for others. If you want to eat good, this place had the best seafood I ate in Rimini, the batter of the fried seafood was very light and flavourful. A solid 9 out of 10. Spinti/e dalla valutazione complessivamente positiva di altri/e abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante. Ho trovato le pietanze molto buone, piatti sufficientemente originali e pesce fresco. Bene a mio avviso che ci sia stata poca offerta nel menù, indice di attenzione a quel che si propone. Quantità modiche quindi non è luogo per chi desidera grandi mangiate. Abbiamo preso un vino biologico siciliano... Molto buono e si abbinava bene ai piatti (abbiamo ordinato due bottiglie). Due note che non hanno consentito il massimo del punteggio. Abbiamo speso circa 45 euro a persona (eravamo in 4) e alla fine ci hanno offerto zuccherini alcolici che non abbiamo accettato. È chiaro che ogni ristoratore ha il diritto di fare ciò che vuole, ma la cortesia è un valore che andrebbe coltivato. Un amaro o un limoncello sarebbe stato molto più apprezzato. Rispetto al pagamento invece, attenzione che in Riviera Romagnola è molto comune ricevere il pre-conto e poi non battere lo scontrino fiscale. Sono certo che il ristoratore abbia provveduto a farlo dopo che ce ne siamo andati/e, ma mi dispiace però che non ci sia stata trasparenza (colpa nostra che non lo abbiamo chiesto). Altro valore da coltivare. Infine, ho notato una strana smorfia quando ho pagato con il bancomat la mia quota, ma probabilmente non vi era alcuna associazione con la questione fiscale. Il covid è stato un flagello per il turismo e la ristorazione, e di questo ne va dato atto a chi lavora nel settore, ma se non ci impegniamo tutte e tutti, in Italia il regime fiscale è i servizi per i cittadini saranno sempre scadenti. Awful place! Asked for takeaway pasta for a 2 year old kid. The cook said 10 minutes, received the pasta after 50 minutes with explanation that the order was not registered no excuse no nothing.
