I'm not used to eating at meat-focused restaurants in Italy because honestly there are better places to have BBQ in the world but we were impressed by this restaurant.

We started with an awesome local Sangiovese that was sublime. It has this beautiful smoky after taste that just geared us up for the BBQ meat coming next.

For appetizers, I got the Bastone Ingrato, which is chicken wrapped around a cherrywood stick and slathered with seasoning. This was unfortunately the lowlight of the night as the chicken was way too dry to enjoy. A lot of potential missed here. From this point on, things get way better, though!

The next appetizer was the tortino di squacqerone with a chard sauce and olive crumble. This was really tasty, the mix of cheese and this sauce is quite different but I really appreciated the uniqueness of it.

Then came the meat. Portions are big in Rimini so watch out! The waiter, this nice Japanese man, warned us that the grill for two is too big unless it's all you get and now we know why! Instead we got the tagliata di scottona (picanha) and the asado and that was already too much for the birth of us! But wow it was good. It came with the sauces with the best being the chimichurri sauce. Very well cooked, to our taste and served well!

I have to give credit to our waiter as well as mentioned above. Great guy, very helpful, multilingual, and excellent service. He was really careful and attentive.

The price was also perfect for a date night with the wife. All this for just over 100€ is great, especially when you're used to living in an expensive city!

I added the menu so check out their other...

I have to say this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a while. I know I’m no food expert but I really enjoyed it.

This restaurant located just on the street next to Palazzo dell'Arengo, I arrived at 8 pm on a Sunday and there were plenty of seats available so I went straight in.

If you’re a meat lover like I do you’re not going to be disappointed because the menu is FULL OF meats, there was even a section of starters just for meat.

So I got this raw pork with melons. The pork was very delicious because it was marinated in lemon citrus and other flavors, you can really taste the hint of lemon there. Exceptional.

For the starters I ordered the beef tartare. It was hands down the best beef tartare I’ve ever had in my life, the flavor of the beef was spectacular, well-balanced, combined eith the mustard sauce, perfetto.

For the sides I had this seared mixed vegetables, nothing special but really good, not overly seasoned, not overcooked, really good.

I skipped the dessert as I was pretty full. But the waiter later brought me two bottles of mystery. I looked it up and it was actually “the Digestivi”. I’m new to this but I tried, and it’s just two very strong alcohol-based drinks. Not sure if it really works for digestion but alright.

Overall the whole experience was near perfect, staff was nice, food was perfect especially for meat-lovers and atmosphere was nice and chill. I would highly recommend it if you happens to be in Rimini.

One thing though, if you’re vegetarian, this might not be the...

Kann ich diesen Ort empfehlen? Spoiler: absolut!!!

Mille...
