Location is fabulous , on the beach , view of the sea, lovely sea breeze. The staff were great , many of whom spoke excellent English. The food looked great , Margherita pizza, Gnocchi , tagliatelle with prawns , bit unfortunately all the fish were mediocre at best. The pizza lacked that zing and sweetness that I like in the sauce, the gnocchi were soft but the sauce was rather flat , and the presentation was a bit of a let down. The tagliatelle with prawns was not bad , but there were not many prawns and the portion size was rather small considering the price €13. As I said earlier amazing location , lots of people around , mainly Italian families so it was a great friendly atmosphere , but I wouldn't go back there to eat. I think next time i won't be eating at a beach side restaurant , I'll look for a restaurant away from the tourist areas ..as that's where I feel you get the best...

The location of this place (Restorane la Teressa) is charming — right on the beach, which makes for a romantic and interesting atmosphere. However, I was quite surprised (and disappointed) to find an extra €4 service charge added to the bill by default. There was no mention of this fee anywhere in the menu or on the premises, and no one informed us about it beforehand.

What made it worse is that the staff didn’t speak English, so asking for clarification wasn’t easy — and they certainly didn’t take the initiative to explain the charge. For some, paying the equivalent of a pizza just for service might be normal, but if you haven’t brought extra cash or are budgeting carefully, it can be frustrating.

Food tasted ok, rest was bad. We ordered 2x water frizante and 1x natural and received 3x natural. For our food we waited 50min for 3 Pizzas and 1 spaghetti al ragu. When the food arrived our waters were empty and instead of spaghetti al ragu they gave us spaghetti pomodoro. The ambiance was also bad. We were seated right next to to a children’s birthday party all tough lots of other(quieter) tables were free. Later when we paid I also addressed this topic but only got unfriendly replies.
